At Providence House Arnegard, men recover alongside other men who understand what they’re up against. Many of our staff are in long-term recovery themselves, so the guys who walk through our door aren’t talking to people who’ve only read about addiction. They’re talking to people who’ve lived it.
Every man gets regular one-on-one time with his own counselor and takes part in daily group sessions built on evidence-based care and the time-proven principles of the 12 Steps. Our thorough admissions process means your plan is built around you, not a template.

We treat the whole man: emotionally, mentally, physically and spiritually. And yes, we make room to have fun, because learning to enjoy a sober life is part of keeping it.

A predictable daily schedule of groups, counseling, meetings and responsibilities gives you back the routine that addiction took away.

Our Treatment Services
Men at Arnegard can move through the full continuum of care, from social detox and residential treatment to day treatment and outpatient support, without changing teams. Each step builds on the last, so the structure stays in place as you return to work, family and daily life.
Residential Treatment
24-hour intensive care in a home-like setting, giving clients the structure and support.
Day / PHP Treatment
A high level of clinical care and support during the day, with clients returning home each evening.
Intensive Outpatient
Structured treatment several days a week for clients balancing recovery with work, school, or family.
Low Intensity Outpatient
Continuing care after intensive treatment, the long-tail support that helps recovery hold.

Providence House is committed to providing accessible and affordable care options. We accept Medicaid, Medicaid Expansion, the North Dakota Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Voucher, most insurance providers — including Blue Cross Blue Shield, Anthem, and Sanford Health Plan — and private-pay options.
