Low Intensity Outpatient Overview

Low Intensity Outpatient provides weekly or biweekly clinical contact focused on recovery maintenance, relapse prevention, and community reintegration. This level of care is designed for individuals who are stable and functioning in their daily lives while continuing to strengthen their recovery.

How to Prepare

What to Expect

Participants engage in individual therapy and continuing care planning that supports accountability, personal growth, and long-term stability. Sessions focus on maintaining progress, navigating real-life challenges, and reinforcing healthy coping skills while remaining active in work, family, and community life.

Most clients continue in Low Intensity Outpatient for 6 to 9 months, meeting 1 to 2 days per week, though the pace and length are adjusted to each person’s ongoing needs.
