Intensive Outpatient Treatment

Typical program length: 90+ days

Our Programs

Intensive Outpatient Overview

Intensive Outpatient provides structured treatment multiple times per week for individuals who need meaningful clinical support while maintaining stability at home. This level of care allows people to continue daily responsibilities while staying closely connected to recovery-focused services.

IOP offers a balance of flexibility and accountability, supporting ongoing healing without the need for residential care.

How to Prepare

What to Expect in Intensive Outpatient

Programming in Intensive Outpatient includes group therapy, individual counseling, family sessions, case management, and relapse prevention. Treatment is designed to address both immediate recovery needs and long-term stability.

Care is outcomes-driven and responsive. Clinical intensity is adjusted based on ASAM criteria, individual progress, and evolving needs to ensure the right level of support at the right time. Most clients participate in IOP for 90 days or more, depending on their individual recovery plan.

Who Intensive Outpatient Serves Best

Intensive Outpatient is ideal for individuals who require consistent therapeutic engagement but are able to maintain housing, safety, and daily structure outside of treatment hours.

This level of care often serves as a step-down from higher-intensity services or as a focused entry point for those who need more support than traditional outpatient programming provides.
