Jason Andersen

My name is Jason Andersen. I am a Licensed Clinical Addiction Counselor and have worked in the addiction field since October 2000. I spent the first 15 years of my career with North Central Human Service Center in Minot, ND, the majority of that time helping to create and facilitate an outpatient adolescent treatment program. I was given the opportunity to be part of the launching of the Ward County Juvenile Drug Court. In 2015, I changed positions and agencies, becoming the Program Supervisor of Trinity Addiction Services at Trinity Hospital. I remained in this position until coming to Providence House in January 2024.

I am a person who has been blessed to be in recovery since February 1999. I am a blessed husband, father, brother, and son to a wonderful family. Most importantly, I am a son of The King. I have dedicated my life to love and serve Him and those He loves. I’m passionate about helping those who are struggling with addictions, and I strive to help them see a better path. I enjoy all kinds of music, playing music, reading novels, and educational information, and I really enjoy learning to better understand myself and all those around me. Any day that goes by without learning something is a wasted day.
