Providence House

Pregnant & Parenting Women’s Recovery Program

A Place for Healing, Hope, & Family

A SAFE PLACE FOR MOTHERS AND CHILDREN

Pregnant & Parenting Women’s Facility

At Providence House Minot, we recognize that mothers facing substance use disorder and mental health challenges should never have to choose between recovery and staying close to their children. That’s why we opened the only specialized program of its kind in North Dakota—a safe, supportive space for pregnant women and mothers in recovery, with an on-site nursery and family-centered services.

Here, mothers can focus on their healing journey while knowing their children are cared for in a nurturing environment just steps away. Recovery becomes a shared experience, where families can begin rebuilding hope together.

What Makes Our Program Unique

Breaking Generational Cycles

We know the effects of addiction and trauma often pass from one generation to the next. At Providence House, we help mothers break those cycles and create a healthier future for themselves and their children.

Safe & Supportive Environment

A community of care where women are seen, valued, and empowered to grow, with comprehensive services including residential treatment, social detox, day treatment, and outpatient options.

Family Healing

Opportunities for mothers and children to heal together, so recovery becomes a shared experience.

Whole-Person Care

Addressing emotional, mental, physical, and spiritual well-being, ensuring no part of the healing journey is overlooked.

Why It Matters

Addiction impacts families—but so does recovery. This facility was built to break down barriers that keep mothers from seeking help, ensuring women can recover while strengthening family bonds.

Every mother deserves the chance to heal. Every child deserves a safe, loving environment. Providence House makes both possible.
